 “One Tap Relist” allows you to instantly relist your car on Beepz after a return, making it quick and easy to get your car back on the market. It’s a win-win for both you and new buyers!

What security do I have for getting paid?

We send regular payment reminders to all buyers before each due date. If a payment is missed, the car will be immobilized. You’ll have the option to request Beepz to retrieve the vehicle on your behalf if needed and then resell your car to a different buyer 

What happens if the Buyer doesn’t pay 

If a buyer doesn’t pay you will have the choice to chat with your buyer to find the reason why the payment wasn’t made and if you would like to make an arrangement. If the buyer doesn’t respond, you will need to press the button ‘I need Beepz to return my car” and Beepz will.

What happens if the Buyer crashes my car?

Beepz requires personal full coverage insurance from the Buyer. Please request the claim number to your buyer and make sure to follow up until you get your total loss covered by the buyer’s insurance. Feel free to contact Beepz for guidance

What if the Buyer loses his ride-share or on-demand delivery service job?

If your Buyer loses his job as a rideshare or on-demand delivery service while the process has started: we will give the Buyer the opportunity to keep making his weekly payments.

 If the Buyer is unable to pay, the Buyer will bring you back the car allowing you to be able to sell it again through Beepz.

If a Buyer stops driving or can’t pay for the car anymore, canI sell my car again on Beepz?

Of course! This is the beauty of Beepz, you keep all your earnings, and list again from week 1.

What about if the car is scratched or damaged when the Buyer returnsthe car before completing the transaction?

If there are damages between a return, Beepz will cover accordingly based on the seller protection coverage you chose when listed your car on Beepz

When am I going to receive my first payment?

Your first payment will be sent to you 7 days after the car pick up appointment  

The Buyer is not responding

Please press the “I need Beepz to return my car” and we will return the car to you! 

How much should I price my car?

We advice to price the car around 40% more from the faire price market value

Can i, as a seller, get my car back whenever I want?

No! The Buyer is legally purchasing your car and the car cannot be taken back unless the Buyer decides so or fails to Pay. 

*You will have 48h to cancel your deal and before you receive your first payment. Once a first payment has been made, you will not be able to get your car back until a Buyer defaults

Can I choose the Buyer?

You will receive requests from different Buyers that wish to purchase your car, You will then sell your car to whom you feel the most comfortable with.

How does the key/remote exchange works?

The buyer will meet you at the address you provided

Once the buyer arrives, ensure to have the temporary registration taped on the windshield

You will then open the chat you have with your buyer, press “next step”, press “car pick up appointment” and then upload a picture of the inspection form

Do I need to stay in contact with the Buyer?

Yes, maintaining communication with your buyer is recommended. While Beepz sends automatic reminders, it’s helpful to reach out if the buyer needs assistance, misses a payment, or needs to provide proof of maintenance.

How do I know if a Buyer is serious?

Beepz requires Buyers to provide one or more of the following to demonstrate their commitment:

  • One or more different payment methods.
  • Full coverage insurance.
  • Recent pay stubs.
  • A letter of employment.
  • Proof of rideshare or on-demand delivery services they work with.

Buyers must also provide a valid driver’s license and SSN to verify their identity. Additionally, we recommend engaging in conversation with potential buyers to ask any questions and ensure they’re a good fit and trustworthy.

What is the mileage limit for listing a car on Beepz?

You can post your vehicle on Beepz as long as it has 125,000 miles or fewer on the odometer.

What Types of Cars Can I List on Beepz?

You can list any type of car on Beepz provided it has an up-to-date SMOG check, has passed a safety inspection, and meets Beepz’s physical requirements.

Can I Sell My Car "As Is" on Beepz?

Yes, you can sell your car "as is" on Beepz provided that:

  • Valid Smog Check: The car has a current and valid smog certification.
  • Passed Safety Inspection: It has undergone and passed a comprehensive safety inspection.
  • Condition Disclosure: The vehicle should be free from major bodywork damages. Any minor damages must be highlighted in the listing to ensure transparency and set the right expectations for potential buyers.

How Can I Ensure My Car Is Properly Maintained on Beepz?

To guarantee the quality and reliability of vehicles on Beepz, the following maintenance protocols are in place:

  • Mandatory Maintenance Documentation: Sellers are required to submit proof of maintenance every 5,000 miles. This documentation helps verify that the car is consistently well-maintained.
  • Enforcement Measures: Should a buyer fail to provide the necessary maintenance proof, the seller has the right to reclaim the vehicle and relist it on Beepz. This ensures that all cars on the platform meet the high standards expected by the community.

Do I Need to Have My Own Insurance as a Seller?

You have the option to choose Beepz Seller's Protection, which provides coverage in the following situations:

  • Damage Protection: If the car is returned with damages caused by the buyer's negligence.
  • Theft Protection: If the vehicle is stolen during the transaction process.

By opting into Beepz Seller's Protection, you can sell your car with added peace of mind, knowing that you are safeguarded against potential risks associated with the sale.

Is It More Advantageous to Sell My Car Through Beepz?

Absolutely! Selling your car through Beepz offers several key advantages:

The Buyer is responsible. The registration will be under the Buyer’s name, and the Buyer will have full coverage insurance on top of their ride-share insurance.

What if the buyer gets a ticket? 

The car is registered to the buyer, all tickets will be sent to them.

Who Is Responsible for the Cost and Installation of the GPS/Magic Switch?

Beepz takes care of the expenses related to the GPS/Magic Switch and its installation. Please note that an activation fee of $49 will be subtracted from your second weekly payment from the buyer.

As a seller on Beepz, you do not need to maintain your own separate insurance. Instead, we recommend opting for the highest level of Beepz Seller Protection to ensure your vehicle is fully covered. This protection includes:

What Should I Do If I Lose My Car Title?

If you lose your car title, the car registration office will issue a duplicate for you. You can request a duplicate title by visiting the DMV or any authorized car registration office in your area. What Happens If the Buyer Doesn’t Pay?

If your buyer fails to make a payment, please follow these steps to resolve the issue:

1. Attempt to Contact the Buyer:

  • Reach out to the buyer through the Beepz messaging system or by calling them directly to remind them of the pending payment.

2. Initiate the Return Process:

  • If the buyer does not respond or fails to complete the payment after your attempts to contact them, navigate to the Chat section in your Beepz App.
  • Locate the conversation with the buyer in question.
  • Click on the "Needs Attention" button.
  • Select "I need Beepz to return my car."

3. Beepz Assistance:

  • Once you initiate the return process, Beepz will promptly handle the situation by retrieving the car from the buyer.
  • This ensures that your vehicle is returned to you quickly, allowing you to relist and sell it to another interested buyer without significant delay.

Do I Need to Provide a Spare Key or an Extra Remote to the Buyer?

Yes, it is mandatory to keep a spare key or extra remote available. If Beepz needs to retrieve the car, a Beepz agent will contact you to arrange collection of the spare key or remote. This ensures a smooth and efficient repossession process, allowing your vehicle to be returned to you promptly, if necessary.

What Do I Need to Do Before the Car Pick-Up Appointment?

Before the pick-up appointment, make sure to complete the following steps:

  1. Temporary Registration: Tape the temporary registration to the windshield of the vehicle.
  2. ROS Document: Have the buyer sign the ROS (Report of Sale) document to finalize the transaction.

What Do I Need to Do Before the Car Pick-Up Appointment?

Before the pick-up appointment, please ensure the following steps are completed:

  • Temporary Registration: Tape the temporary registration securely on the windshield of the car.
  • ROS Document: Have the buyer sign the Registration of Sale (ROS) document.

These steps help ensure a smooth and efficient handover process for both you and the buyer.

How can I remove the Magic Switch device from my car?

  • If you don’t wish to be a part of the beepz family anymore, Please contact Beepz and we will send a technician your way who will take off the killswitch.

What will happen at the Car registration Office?

 You will meet with your Buyer and a car registration agent to legalize the transaction. 

  • You will become the lienholder of  the vehicle you are selling
  • The Buyer will be added as the registered owner of the vehicle. 

Once the Car registration agent is done, the Buyer will upload his/her car registration on beepz, you will then give your car key to the Buyer and confirm it on the app so you can get your first payment

Why Is My First Payment So Low?

The first two payments are lower than the subsequent weekly payments because the setup cost for the Magic Switch device and your listing fee are deducted from these payments. This ensures all initial setup expenses are covered upfront.

How much is the Beepz service fee?

Beepz service fee is 9.4%

What is a Lien Satisfied Release?

You will find the lien satisfied release on your car title or on a lien satisfied release form. This is the signature needed to prove that the seller is no longer the owner of the car and ownership has been transferred to the Buyer once all payments are completed.

What Happens If I Want to Give the Car Back to the Buyer After a Return or Repossession?

 If your buyer has requested to have their car back and you’ve agreed, follow these steps:

  1. Contact Beepz: Reach out to Beepz support at Support@beepzapp.com to request a reinstatement of the deal.
  2. Reinstatement Fee: The buyer will need to pay the required reinstatement fee, which Beepz will communicate to you.
  3. Settlement of Dues: The buyer must also pay any outstanding payments for late weeks before the deal can be reinstated.

Once these conditions are met, Beepz will facilitate the reinstatement process to ensure everything is handled smoothly.
